On February 8, 2022 the Norwich Police Department Patrol Division responded to an address on Cliff Street to investigate a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that there had been an altercation at the residence and two individuals had been injured with which is being reported as a possible hatchet. One of the individuals has been transported to the W.W. Backus Hospital due to his injuries which are not considered life threatening. The other had minor injuries and was not transported.
Norwich Police Officers as well as the Detective Division are still on scene at this time as this is an active investigation.
