The Griswold Senior Center announced today that they received notification from the Gemma Moran Food pantry that there will be a food box distribution on Friday, February 5. According to the information there will be approximately 500 food boxes that will be given away on Friday, first come, first serve.
There is no paperwork to fill out, no qualification process.
The line will start to form by coming through the Senior Center parking lot on Soule St. Staff will be there to direct you on which way to go since this distribution will have 2 separate lines to speed up the process.
The time has yet to be announced as to when the food boxes will be available. SNSN Internet Radio will keep you posted on more information as it comes available.
UPDATE:
The food drive will start at 9:30 AM on FRIDAY morning. The Senior Center is also looking for volunteers to help bring food boxes to residents that can’t come get them.
