Woman Arrested in Ledyard Also Had Warrant for Home Invasion in Norwich

While on patrol an officer observed Moore fail to stop at a four way stop sign and then continue north on Colonel Ledyard Hwy towards Norwich. The officer was able to catch up to this vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Thomas Rd. During the motor vehicle stop the officer requested license, registration, and insurance. The operator did not provide a license and the officer could smell the odor of marijuana. The officer requested the operator to get out of the vehicle and she refused to exit the motor vehicle at the officer request. A struggle took place between officers and the operator who was taken into custody. During the then investigation was discovered that the operator provided a false name due to her license being suspended and a felony warrant out of the City of Norwich Police Department.

22 year old Arianna Moore of Norwich was processed at the Ledyard Police Department and released on a 10,000 Non-Surety bond and then released to the Norwich Police Department due to a warrant for Home Invasion, Assault 3rd, Risk of Injury, Larceny 6th, and Unlawful Restraint.
