State Police Detectives Seek Help to ID Griswold Armed Robbery Suspect

On 2/14/2022, at 4:55 a.m., Troopers from the Troop E-Montville Barracks were dispatched to the Petro Max gas station located at 136 Preston Road in Griswold for a report of an armed robbery.

At approximately 4:52 a.m., a white male dressed in a black sweatshirt, black mask, black gloves and tan pants entered the Petro Max armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. This male obtained a small amount of cash from the register and fled in a gold 4-door sedan. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” and 180 pounds.
