On April 28, 2022, at approximately 10:37 P.M., members of the Plainfield Police Department with the assistance of the Montville Police Department arrested Brandon Howard, 19, of Plainfield, on a Criminal Arrest Warrant for Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, Possession of Child Pornography, Risk of Injury to a Minor, and Tampering with Evidence.
Through thorough investigation, it was determined that Howard was in a sexual relationship with a fifteen-year-old female and was found to be in possession of child pornography. Prior to police meeting with Howard, he attempted to delete the child pornography from his electronic device in an attempt to hinder the investigation.
This arrest was a result of an investigation conducted by the Plainfield Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. Brandon Howard was released on a court set $50,000 bond and will be arraigned at the Danielson Superior Court on May 16, 2022.
