Dayville Man Dies as a Result of a 3-Car Crash

On Sunday 11/07/2021, at approximately 2:34 PM, State Police was dispatched to a three-car motor vehicle collision on Route 44 and Pumpkin Hill Road, in Ashford that claimed the life of a Dayville Man, 92 year Gerard Cinqmars, when he was struck head on by 22 year old John Brozek of Coventry as Brozek tried to swerve out of the way from a car that was braking in front of him.
Cinqmars was taken to Windham Hospital for his injuries at first and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
