At 9:00 AM winds were gusting from the west at 25 –40 MPH across the state. Eversource and UI are currently reporting a total of 11,729 customers without power. This is down from a peak of around 14,000 customers at 7:30 AM. High Wind Warnings and advisories are now expiring and will be completely expire by 10:00 AM. The highest recorded gusts occurred along the coast with a 60 MPH gust in Groton at 6:00 AM.
Tree and powerline damage was generally minor across the state with a few pockets of moderate impact in eastern CT.
