UCONN Delays Move In Date For Spring Semester

An email that went out to students and was published last week in the University of Connecticut’s newpaper, UCONN TODAY, is tellign students and faculty that it will be at least 2 additonal weeks before students return to their Storrs and Stamford campuses pushing the date from January 15 to January 29.
There are some students that don’t have a choice but to return on the weekend of the 15th, including international students. All students that have housing insecurity will be approved to return the 15th with instructions and must contact the university by January 6, 2022.
UCONN also states in the email that in the future, booster shots will be required for all students. Booster shots have been approved for anyone 16 years and older. Unvaccinated students are not eligible to return to UCONN before the 29th.
