On February 3, 2022 at approximately 5:43 pm. Troopers from Troop E – Montville responded to the area of Spring Rd in Griswold for a domestic disturbance possibly involving firearms. Upon arrival Troopers were confronted with a barricaded subject.
At approximately 5:00 am this morning the individual who barricaded himself in Griswold was taken into custody without incident. He has been identified as 56 year old Michael Chase. This incident remains under investigation.
