Rear End Collision On Sterling Road Causes Injuries

On October 22, 2020 at approximately 1:32 PM, members of the Plainfield Police Department along with members of the American Legion Ambulance and Moosup Fire Department responded to Sterling Road in Moosup for a report of a two car motor vehicle accident with minor injuries.

Following an investigation, it was determined that a Hyundai Tuscon operated by Lauren Hopkins of Sterling was traveling eastbound on Sterling Road when it rear ended a Chevrolet Equinox being operated by Victoria Waters of Moosup that was also traveling eastbound on Sterling Road.

Waters and her juvenile passenger were transported by American Legion Ambulance to the Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center for treatment of suspected minor injuries related to the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
