Plainfield Man Arrested For Drug Possession in School Parking Lot

November 4, 2020 at approximately 12:35 P.M., the Plainfield Police Department responded to the Plainfield Central School on Canterbury Road for a report of an individual engaging in drug activity within a motor vehicle in the parking lot.

After finding the vehicle unoccupied, the Officer was quickly able to locate the owner of the vehicle, Drew Royer, age 18 of PlainfieldĀ a short distance away. While speaking to Royer, the Officer became suspicious that he was in possession of illegal drugs.

Through the course of the investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted where Royer was found to be in possession of marijuana, a large quantity of THC edibles, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, and a large amount of cash.

Royer was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a School Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell in a School Zone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Alcohol by a Minor.

Royer was released on a $20,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court, January 11, 2021 at 8:30 A.M.
