On October 15th, 2021 at approximately 6:30p.m., Officers of the Norwich Police Department were dispatched to 42 Town Street, Norwich CT, (The People’s Bank) for a reported Bank Robbery. It was later learned that a male entered the business, approached the bank counter and demanded cash from the bank teller. No weapon was used or implied. The suspect then exited the business (with an undermined amount of cash) and fled the scene in a dark colored 4 door sedan.
