Naugatuck Teen Arrested For Posting Threat on Social Media

A 13 year old teen from Naugatuck was arrested this morning after he suggested that fellow students not go to school on December 17 because of what he “might do.”

The teen has a court date in juvenile court this Friday in Waterbury after being charged with breach of peace.

A few school districts closed school today in the midst of social media threats made on the popular TikTok app.  Norwich is the most local that closed today.
