Local Missing Businessman Held in High Regard

Norwich Community Development Corp and local businessman, Jason Vincent had gone missing. Vincent has been missing since just before Christmas and hasn’t been heard from by not responding to emails and/or text messages that were sent to him by friends, family, members of the business community.

Vincent’s car was found within a state park in West Virginia on a bridge.

According to the Norwich Bulletin, a body was recovered on Monday at noon, in the “New River” matching Vincent’s description by the Hawk’s River Nest Damn a spokeman said. The Virginia State Medical Examiner’s office identification is still pending and no foul play is suspected.

Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Angela Adams told SNSN “It’s a huge loss in our community (personally and professionally) he was my friend and a mentor to me.”

“Jason was a man of integrity, a man of high ideals, and easy to be a friend. He was one of the original people that believed in me as he did with so many others” stated a personal friend.

Vincent was on vacation from NCDC and was due to return to work on Monday January 4, 2021.
