The Griswold Senior Center has recently received a large donation of sanitizing wipes as a gift from Habitat for Humanity. The town has already picked up over 20 pallets of them and will be picking up more in the next week.
Some of the product is going to be given to the towns of Voluntown and Lisbon, according to senior center director Tina Falck. Some will also be distributed to local business, banks, churches, Fire departments, the St Mary’s food pantry as well as others. Falck also states that she would like to get them to residents in elderly housing in approximately 90 apartments.
