Burglars Load Up On Dirt Bikes and Clothing At Local Plainfield Business

On February 1, 2022 at approximately 2:58 AM, members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to a commercial burglary alarm at Motorsports Nation located at 982 Norwich Road in Plainfield .

Through preliminary investigation, it was determined that two Kawasaki dirt bikes, two Honda dirt bikes, and one Yamaha dirt bike along with several articles of clothing were stolen from the Motorsports Nation showroom by at least five masked individuals who forced entry through a door on the side of the building.

The suspects were operating a white U-Haul box truck with an image of multiple snakes on the rear passenger side and what appears to be a camel on the rear driver’s side along with a white U-Haul van. Both vehicles were last seen on surveillance footage traveling northbound on Norwich Road towards Kate Downing Road.
