Griswold Boosters is proud to announce their student athletes of the week for 5/2-5/8. Congratulations to Junior Taylor Bialowas (Outdoor Track) and Junior Michael Strain (Outdoor Track)
Taylor took 1st place for long jump and the 100 at Griswold’s dual meet vs Windham last week. She also placed 8th overall in the 100m and 3rd for long jump at the Marty Robert’s Invitational at Coginchaug High School this past weekend.
Michael Strain was a top contributor to the GHS Track & Field Team’s win vs Windham last week. He took first place in the 800 and 1600. He was also part of the 4×800 and 4×400 relays that took first place. Additionally, at the Marty Roberts Invitational this past weekend, he placed 2nd in the 1600 and 5th in the 800 overall.
