First Selectman Todd Babbitt led his last meeting this term as first selectman in the town of Griswold on November 8th. The next Board of Selectman meeting is going to have a brand new and different look to the board with Dana Bennett elected as Griswold’s new First Selectman and Richard Matters as 2nd Selectman. Babbitt will remain on the board as 3rd Selectman because he received more votes that Rich Grabowski, who was running for Selectman.
Monday, November 15, all of the new members to Griswold Boards and Commissions will be sworn in at town hall by Town Clerk Valerie Pudvah.
This will be the first Republican led board since Kevin Skulczyck and Martin McKinney.
