Vehicle Loses Control on Snake Meadow Sending One to the Hospital

On February 13, 2022 at approximately 7:25 A.M., members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to the area of North Sterling Hill Road, Moosup, at the intersection of Snake Meadow Hill Road for a report of a one car motor vehicle crash. American Legion Ambulance was requested to the scene.

Upon arriving on scene an investigation was conducted which revealed 27 year old Samantha Roberto,  of Chaplin, was traveling southbound on Snake Meadow Hill Road when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy road conditions . This caused her vehicle to travel off the roadway and strike a stone wall causing disabling damage. Roberto was subsequently transported to Backus Emergency Care Center in Plainfield for possible injuries.
