Gales Ferry Man Tries to Punch Out Window To Gain Access To House He Was Invited to Stay At

On March 8,  The Ledyard Police were dispatched to 185 Whale Head Rd in the Gales Ferry section of Ledyard for a report of a male in the front yard of 185 Whalehead Rd who was bloody and slurring his words. Upon arrival Officers observed a male later identified as Vincent Grybauskas, standing in the front yard of 185 Whalehead Rd. Officers could see a laceration on the right hand of Grybauskas which appeared to be bleeding steadily. Grybauskas stated he was at a friend’s house nearby and had cut his hand trying to get back into the house. A check of the area showed that Grybauskas tried to re-enter the home at 194 Whalehead Rd where he was allowed to spend the night. Grybauskas attempted to gain entry into the home by punching his fist through a small glass potion of the front door resulting in his injury. Grybauskas was transported to the hospital where he was issued a misdemeanor summons reflecting the appropriate charge. He is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on March 22, 2022.
